With the sponsorship of Sierra Central Credit Union The Acting Company's production of Grease is coming together just fine, co-directors said.

Danny, Sandy, Rizzo, Kenickie, Frenchy and all the Rydell High gang hand jive their way onto the local stage in one of the most popular musicals ever produced, director Staci Johnson said.

The main stars in the local production are Matt Monaco as Danny, Colleen Sullivan as Sandy, Dahni Trujillo as Rizzo and Tyler Brand as Kenickie.

Hit songs include: "Summer Nights," "We Go Together," "Greased Lightning," "Hopelessly Devoted to You," "You're The One That I Want," and "Born to Hand Jive."

The rocky venue problems have been solved with the show now to be performed under the stars at the Peach Tree Golf and Country Club, Johnson said.

The schedule has been altered to accommodate the switch from Marysville Auditorium to the starlit country club precincts, with a dress rehearsal preview slated for July 19, Johnson said.

Grease is a rock 'n' roll musical by Warren Casey & Jim Jacobs II. Directing the local production are Johnson and Pierrette Jensen

New schedule:
July 25th - August 3rd
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 8:30 p.m.
at the Peach Tree Golf & Country Club on Dantoni Road.

Tickets:
$12 and can be purchased at Peach Tree Country Club or the Mall at Yuba City. Season Ticket holders will receive their tickets in the mail this week.
