YES! You're absolutely right - I am a stage Mom, and ... and ... I am not ashamed! As lovers and supporters of the arts and my friends - I'm good at guilt, I come by it naturally - I am appealing to you to take the time on Friday, Nov. 15 or Saturday, Nov. 16 to see THE BOYFRIEND, 7 p.m., at the Marysville Community Auditorium. You will not regret it.

The Marysville Charter Academy students (including mine) have worked very hard for the past six weeks to perform this wacky musical spoof on the "tittering" twenties and the hard work shows. It's fun, it's
uplifting and it's really, really good. The entire cast is good (not just my kid) the music is great (directed by Zenobia Brown-Brokenbraugh) the dancing is excellent (directed by Jacque Dake) and the acting is super (directed by the very talented Wendy Marks, MCAA Drama Dept.)

More than 1,000 people in the community have seen the play already and have loved it. This will be the final weekend. Don't miss this opportunity. These talented performers are the future of theatre in Northern California, and perhaps beyond.

And if you don't come, you'll have to answer to the Stage Mom.
