Richard Rodgers would be 100 -- so hum a few bars...

Broadway giant Richard Rodgers (of Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II) would be 100 years old now, if he hadn't died, but his songs live on.

From "My Funny Valentine" to "Fallling in Love: (:with love is falling for make believe," Rodgers and his colloboraters left a big mark on American musical stage, movies and TV, if you recall "Cinderella" -- the only musical R&H2 ever wrte for live elevision -- and the score from "Victory at Sea."

Mark Steyn of Canada's National Post remembers Rodgers' contribution.
